I know that to most people I know, Christmas is their favorite season of the year.  To be sure, I’m not meaning any offense to those that have a different favorite season (Christmas or otherwise).  I AM NOT AN ANIMAL – I AM A HUMAN SINNER!!!

For me, Ash Wednesday is perhaps the giddiest day of the year.  It’s the day when Lent begins and the ultra purple, extra struggle, demonic em-battlement consumes my life for 40 days and nights.

  The fact that I stood for 1.75 hours and got to get Ashes is a good predecessor to the Lenten journey ahead.

  God is so good!!!!
